HDMI high-definition optical transceiver is the terminal equipment for optical signal transmission. In a wide range of applications, it is often necessary to send the HDMI signal source to a remote place for processing. The most prominent problems are: the signal received at a distance appears color cast and blurred, the signal produces ghosting, smearing and moire interference. So, how to debug the transmission failure of HDMI video optical transceiver?
If the monitor is blank, disconnect the optical input from the receiver and keep the connection between the cable and the power supply unchanged. Then proceed to the following steps:
a. After the optical fiber is disconnected, if the monitor screen is snowflakes, it means that the optical connection of the optical fiber is normal before the optical fiber is disconnected. A snowy screen usually means that the receiver is working properly, but it may not receive enough light.Connect the optical fiber again. If the screen turns black again, it means that the carrier output of the transmitter cannot be FM (that is, there is no video input signal) or there is a problem with the transmitter itself. Check the video input process on the transmitter: disconnect the signal source from the optical transmitter, and then use a video cable to directly connect the signal source to the monitor. If the monitor works, replace the optical transmitter.
b. If the monitor is still black when the optical fiber is disconnected, you need to check whether all connections to the monitor are correct. If all connections are ok, try another receiver or monitor.
